The invention discloses a
red mud doped
manganese and
cerium catalyst used for
flue gas
denitrification, and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) putting
red mud into water, stirring to evenly disperse, standing, washing precipitates to be neutral, and
drying and
grinding to obtain a required
red mud sample RM; 2) mixing soluble manganous salt and
cerium salt with the mixture of ethyl
alcohol and water, stirring until the manganous salt and the
cerium salt are completely dissolved to obtain
mixed solution, then, adding the red mud sample RM into the
mixed solution, stirring for set time, meanwhile, adding precipitant into the
mixed solution, and regulating to a set pH (Potential of
Hydrogen) value; 3) after the mixture stands for
ageing set time, separating precipitates from a
liquid phase, and washing a
solid phase to be neutral; 4) after the washed
solid phase is dried and roasted, obtaining required RM catalyst. The red mud is taken as a
raw material to prepare the red mud catalyst with high
denitrification activity. The preparation method for the red mud has the advantages of being simple, low in
energy consumption and light in environment
pollution, and has a potential application prospect in an NH3-SCR catalytic
denitrification field.
