The method for preparing the bulking agent of the epoxy resin modified asphalt is characterized by comprising the following steps of: 1) selecting the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of fatty acid, 150-250 parts of epoxy resin, 3-4 parts of catalyst and 580-610 parts of organic solvent for spare use; and 2) dispersing the fatty acid and the epoxy resin into the organic solvent, and adding the catalyst, and heating for 3-5 hours at the temperature of 100-150 DEG C so as to obtain the bulking agent of the epoxy resin modified asphalt. The bulkingagent prepared by the method provided by the invention can cause mixing of asphalt and the epoxy resin to be more uniform.
