simulation method of a
graphics processor and a computer readable storage medium, and the hardware
simulation method comprises the steps: according to a function and an actual parameter, corresponding to a hardware component in a second type
graphics processor, in a program language interface called in a user program, and according to a
data structure and a variable corresponding to a hardware component in the second type of
graphics processor in the user program, introducing an instruction corresponding to the first type of graphics processor through a
programming interface of the existing GPU, a
hardware architecture for using a first type of graphics processor to simulate a specified function to be completed by a hardware component in a second type of graphics processor. Wherein the function, the
data structure and the variable are originally used for driving a hardware component in the second type graphics processor to complete a specified function. By introducing the instructions corresponding to the first type of graphics processor as described above, an approximate
simulation result can also be generated before the second type of graphics processor has not yet a finished product available for testing.
