An urban air public transport system comprises slow lanes, lanes, fast lanes, I-shaped steel rails, power lines, power line brackets, a tower, supports, cabins, cabin doors, conductive arms, power units, motors, wheels, wheel wings, side wheel shafts, main wheel shafts, side wheel micro-shafts, side wheel frames, side wheels, cabin connecting arms, passenger zones, buffer zones, driving zones, cabin brackets, stayed frames, lower connecting rods and upper connecting rods, wherein the towers and the supports are arranged at two sides of the pavement of an urban road; the two I-shaped steel rails are arranged at two sides of the top of each of the tower in parallel and are used for the balanced movement of the two cabins at two sides of the towers under the driving of the power units to reduce the gravity of the cabins and increase the riding safety; and the power lines provide power energy for the whole urban air public transport system and are installed on the power line brackets. The urban air public transport system has the advantages of simple making, strong maneuverability, low cost and obvious effect.
