A biofuel production method, catalyst and system. The method may include combining a feedstock comprising a carbonaceous material with a consumable catalyst to produce a feedstock / catalyst mixture, and subjecting the feedstock / catalyst mixture to a vacuum pyrolytic gasification and liquefaction process to produce one or more biofuels. The catalyst includes effective amounts of various catalyst constituents, which may include some or all of kaolin, zeolite, amorphous silica, alumina aluminum phosphate and rare earth elements. The system may include apparatus for heating the feedstock / catalyst mixture under selected temperature and vacuum pressure conditions to produce a gaseous effluent comprising one or more hydrocarbon fractions, and additional distillation and condensation apparatus to produce one or more liquid and gaseous fuels.

The invention first adopts the collosol-gel chemical synthesis, wraps a layer of amorphous silica on the external surface of the magnetic inorganic nano-particle, then uses the layer by layer self-assembly technology to adsorb the polyelectrolyte with positive charge and the zeolite nano-particle with negtive charge on the magnetic microsphere surface with negtive charge, finally wraps a layer of zeolite materials on the exterior of the magnetic microsphere through the air-solid phase crystal transformation technology, thereby obtaining the magnetic zeolite compound microsphere with the putamen structure. The compound microsphere has strong magnetic responsibility, and the surface can adsorb a great deal of polypeptide, thereby having wide application foreground on the aspect of bioseparation and high efficiency proteid enzymolysis. Method for preparing multifunctional titanium dioxide pigment with chlorination method

The invention relates to a method for preparing multifunctional titanium dioxide pigment with a chlorination method, which comprises the following steps of: blending a titanium dioxide primary product into titanium dioxide slurry by adopting a chlorination method and adjusting a pH value between 9.0 and 11.0; adding a phosphate dispersing agent and carrying out grinding treatment; removing a grinding medium from the slurry and heating; adding a water-soluble silicate solution for curing; adjusting the pH value of the slurry for forming amorphous silica and curing for forming a first coating layer; cooling the slurry to 50-70 DEG C; adding a sodium metaaluminate solution and curing; adjusting the pH value of the slurry between 8.0 and 9.0, curing and forming an amorphous alumina coating layer on the first coating layer; adding an aluminum salt solution, maintaining the pH of the slurry between 7.0 and 9.0 and curing; adjusting the pH value of the slurry between 6.0 and 7.0 and curing; and washing the slurry with deionized water till the conductivity of a filter cake is larger than 15,000 ohm.cm, and carrying out drying and steaming pulverizing treatment to obtain a finished product. The multifunctional titanium dioxide pigment prepared with the method has higher weather resistance, whiteness, covering capability, opacity and dispersibility and excellent processing performance in the fields of coating, plastics, papermaking, and the like.

Removal of dissolved and colloidal silica

Small amorphous silica particles are used to provide a relatively large surface area upon which silica will preferentially adsorb, thereby preventing or substantially reducing scaling caused by deposition of silica on evaporative cooling tower components, especially heat exchange surfaces. The silica spheres are contacted by the cooling tower water in a sidestream reactor, then separated using gravity separation, microfiltration, vacuum filtration, or other suitable separation technology. Cooling tower modifications for implementing the invention process have been designed.
