The elevator traction machine and the method have the advantages that the brake can be conveniently fixed, the stator coil can be prevented from rotating, the magnetic steel is convenient to detach and replace, the magnetic steel fastening stability can be improved, and the elevator traction machine is high in integral strength and low in machining cost.
