The invention discloses a method for preparing fine denier dyeable
polypropylene fiber by sheath-core compounding. The method comprises the following steps: (1),
copolyester additive is prepared through the method of combining melt phase polycondensation and
solid phase polycondensation; (2), the additive, compatilizer for
polyolefin elastomer to graft multiple monomers, and
polypropylene resin are subjected to melt-blending
granulation in a double-screw extruder, and the dyeable modified
polypropylene resin with the dispersed phase grain
diameter less than 1 mum is prepared; and (3), the dyeable modified polypropylene resin prepared in the step (2) is used as a sheath layer, the polypropylene resin is used as a core layer, and the sheath-core compounded fine denier dyeable
polypropylene fiber with the monofilament
fineness less than 0.5dtex is prepared. With the method, the operating performance is obviously improved, the
mechanical property of the
fiber is improved, and the cost is greatly reduced; and compared with single-component dyeable
polypropylene fiber, the fine denier dyeable
polypropylene fiber has the obvious advantages in the aspects of production efficiency, product quality,
cost competitiveness and the like and also can meet the application requirement on high-grade clothing and home
textile shell fabric.
