This invention provides a method to granulate aerobic mud particles for degrading nitrohydroxybenzene, which includes following steps: a) active muds from aeration pools in sewage disposal plants are collected and transplanted into sequencing bioreactors; b) simulative organic sewage containing nitrohydroxybenzene is prepared; c) the simulative organic sewage containing nitrohydroxybenzene is pump into the sequencing bioreactor from the bottom; d) according to the running mode of the sequencing bioreactor, oxygen is kept off for 10~50 minutes and then air is provided from the reactor bottom with an aeration device; e) the temperature, pH value, hydraulic retention time, organic load and sedimentation time in the sequencing bioreactor are held for a certain period and then aerobic mud particles for degrading nitrohydroxybenzene can be obtained in the reactor. The aerobic mud particles cultivated in this invention perform greater activity and better sedimentation properties. The storage and transportation are convenient, and over 90% nitrohydroxybenzene can be removed.
