A conductive, compliant, deformable boot for a fiber optic or other cable assembly is described, which both provides traditional cable strain relief functions and extends over the body of the connector to form an electrically conductive shield over the cable receptacle aperture when the cable assembly is plugged into the aperture. The boot deforms slightly upon insertion of the cable assembly and compresses against a mating component to form a shield against electrostatic discharge which can accumulate on the cable or card and also to shield against electromagnetic emissions entering or leaving the circuit card package. The boot also shields against emissions when two cable assemblies are mated together by deforming slightly upon mating and then returning to its original state when the assemblies are disconnected.

The invention relates to valve type radioactive source shielding assembly which belongs to nuclear radiation protection and nuclear application technical field. The shielding assembly includes valve body and core. Its structure features are that the valve body is joined to shield by rabbet which can put radiant; the valve core and through-hole are vertically set in the valve body; one end of the valve core is connected with compressing mechanism in the valve body; another end is connected with the thrust mechanism out of the valve body. When radiant is not in working state, the valve core will cover the through-hole to seal the radiant by the compressing mechanism. When it is in working state, the valve core will be over against the through-hole to open the radiant by thrust mechanism. The advantages of the invention are that it has simple structure, small size; it can realize standardization and parameterization of the shielding assembly, uses standard exterior structure to satisfy multiple source integration.

Antenna capable of switching wave beam directions

The invention discloses an antenna capable of switching wave beam directions. The butterfly-shaped antenna is formed by an orthohexagonal bottom face and six rectangular side faces which are provided with radiators in a printing mode and form certain included angles with the bottom face. Six blocking capacitors are connected on the periphery of a feeding point in an equal angle mode. Each blocking capacitor is respectively and sequentially outward connected with a PIN diode, a metal feeder and a quari-yagi antenna. A high impedance metal wire is educed from a conode of each blocking capacitor and the corresponding PIN diode. Metal wires educed from two adjacent conodes are connected with the same inductor, and the other end of the inductor is connected to a metal pasted floor through a metalized through hole of a medium substrate. An inductor is educed from the side face of each metal feeder, and the other end of the inductor is connected with a voltage reducing resistor. A 5V direct current control signal source controls on-off of the PIN diodes to realize switching of six wave beam states, so that the purposes that antenna radiation covers the whole upper half space, working bandwidth is increased, and radiation to lower half space is shielded are achieved.
