When zero adjustment of the ball head is carried out, a displacement detection system determine the eccentric amount of the ball head based on the gap between the ball head and the ball socket, the gap is detected by four displacement sensors; and based on the eccentric amount of the ball head, the current in six auxiliary magnet exciting coils is adjusted so as to overlap the center of the ball head and the center of theball socket. Through the balance between pre-tensioning of magnetic force and gas film support force, the ball hinge joint can move in different positions, the application range of the air flotation ball hinge is enlarged, the magnetic force is pre-tensioned by using an electromagnet, and the control is easy.
