The invention provides a polyolefin film capable of being degraded completely and a manufacturing method thereof. The polyolefin film consists of the following components in percentage by weight: 10 to 80 percent of low density polyethylene; 0 to 40 percent of metallocene linear low density polyethylene; 0.5 to 5.0 percent of prodegradant; and 0 to 60 percent of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. The preferred prodegradant is a composition consisting of tripotassium trioxalatoferrate, ferrous pyrophosphate, aluminic ester, low density polyethylene and ferrous biglycinate chelate. The polyolefin film of the invention can be degraded completely, has the advantages of easy processing and lower manufacturing cost, and can obtain excellent transparency.
