The invention discloses a testing apparatus for measuring the activeness and
metabolic rate of fishes under a
low oxygen condition. The device includes a blending groove, a stabilizing groove and a measuring groove, sealing membranes with one-way air valves are arranged on the tops of both the blending groove and the stabilizing groove,
oxygen dissolving probes are arranged on the upper portions of the blending groove and the stabilizing groove, an
inert gas outlet is formed in the bottom of the blending groove, and the bottom of the blending groove is connected with the bottom of the stabilizing groove through a communicated
water pipe; the center of the bottom of the stabilizing groove is provided with a
propeller with a motor, and a water pump discharges water in the stabilizing groovefrom the bottom of stabilizing groove into the bottom of the measuring groove; an oblique porous base plate is arranged at the bottom of the measuring groove; an
oxygen dissolving
machine is arrangedat the bottom of the measuring groove; a cover plate is arranged on the upper portion of the measuring groove, and a pipeline with the
oxygen dissolving
machine is connected with the cover plate to
discharge water in the measuring groove to the exterior. Water with
low oxygen content, entering a behavior observation chamber, can be blended evenly to prevent that a result is influenced by high dissolved
oxygen content or
low dissolved oxygen content of a certain part; through design of multiple portions, generated bubbles can be removed, and the situation that behaviors of tested fishes under the
low oxygen condition cannot be observed due to too many bubbles can be avoided.
