The composite expanded and vitrified microbead heat-insulation mortar slab consists of an upper surface layer, a lower surface layer and a sandwich layer, wherein the sandwich layer is expanded and vitrified microbead heat-insulation mortar; the upper surface layer and the lower surface layer are expanded and vitrified microbead heat-insulation mortar doped with ultralight ceramsite aggregate, wherein the ultralight ceramsite with the bulk density of being lower than 300Kg / m <3> is selected. The mass ratio of the ultralight ceramsite to the expanded and vitrified microbeads is 1: 1. The production method comprises the following steps of: respectively preparing dry blend of the upper surface layer, the lower surface layer and the sandwich layer according to the used proportions, then respectively and uniformly mixing, respectively adding water according to the ratio of 1: 1 of water to each mixture, respectively stirring for 3min, forming a slab in a mould, and adjusting the thickness of the slab according to actual requirements, wherein the thicknesses of the upper surface layer and the lower surface layer are respectively 5-10mm, and the thickness of the sandwich layer is 30-60mm.
