The invention discloses a device for evaluating short-period
snow melting performances of a salt-applied
snow-self melting
road surface. The device provided by the invention comprises an ambient temperature box, an
experimental unit, a loading unit and a test unit, wherein the
experimental unit, the loading unit and the test unit are arranged in the ambient temperature box. The test unit comprises test pieces, ice and
snow bestrewed on the test pieces, a thermal-insulating and water-resisting material arranged each adjacent two of the test pieces, elastic shock pads arranged on the tops of the thermal-insulating and water-resisting materials, porous separator plates arranged at the bottoms of the test pieces, and waterproof material wrapping the test pieces. The loading unit comprises a rolling wheel which can carry out straight
reciprocating motion, and a loading device for lifting the rolling wheel, wherein the loading device is installed in a linear-type guide rail and is connected to a radially movable turn plate by a connecting rod and the radially movable turn plate is driven by a motor. The test unit comprises drainage devices, and measuring cylinders which are utilized for holding and measuring solutions and are arranged under the drainage devices, wherein a density
measuring instrument and a
laser receiving and transmitting device are arranged in each one of the measuring cylinders. The device provided by the invention can be utilized for
simulation of a test on short-period
snow melting effects of a salt-applied snow-self melting
road surface under the action of vehicle rolling, and is mainly utilized for evaluation of short-period
snow melting performances of a salt-applied snow-self melting
road surface.
