Method and system for granting access to personal information

A system and method to permit users to have personal unique identifiers associated with personal information stored on a database accessed by an identity server is disclosed. The identity server is connected to one or more networks including the Internet. Users can distribute the personal unique identifier to third parties who can then obtain the personal information by accessing the server through the network. The users may modify the information stored in the database, which can then assist third parties in obtaining the modified information by inputting the personal unique identifier, or permitting client software to do so automatically on their behalf, in turn making updates to that information for the third party. This can be done over a large period of time such that third parties can easily access personal information of the user even if that information changes. The third parties may also be organizations or corporations with extensive customer lists that wish to update their client contact information with minimum interference to the customers and at minimal costs to the organization. Furthermore, users can use the personal unique identifier to populate electronic forms, such as web forms, provided on web sites hosted by organization or corporation, for the convenience of the organization or corporation and the use. The personal information of the user may also be organized in different cards having a variety of reveal and hidden status levels permitting access to additional information if a key, comprising an alphanumeric code, is entered together with the unique identifier.

Systems and methods for wireless transmission of power

Systems and methods for real time communication between wireless power transmitters and wireless power receivers based on software embedded on a microprocessor. The systems and methods described here may allow wireless power transmitters to communicate with one or more wireless power receivers in real time within intervals of one second. The systems and methods described here may also enable full control of the wireless power receivers by letting the user decide which wireless power receivers to charge, when to charge them, and set priorities and charging schedules among other functions.

Telemetry head programmer for implantable medical device and system and method

System, telemetry head and method for programming an implantable medical device adapted to provide a therapeutic output to a patient, the implantable medical device being programmable through a telemetry interface. A telemetry head is adapted for transcutaneous communication with the implantable medical device through the telemetry interface when the telemetry head is positioned with respect to the implantable medical device. A computing device has computing processing power and a user interface linked with the telemetry head. The computing device processes the computing instructions associated with the implantable medical device. The computing device supplies the user interface based, at least in part, on the computing instructions associated with the implantable medical device. The telemetry head receives programming instructions from the computing device and provides the programming instructions to the implantable medical device using the transcutaneous telemetry interface.

Automatic monitoring and just-in-time resource provisioning system

A method and apparatus for automatic provisioning steps using a physical computing block-based infrastructure platform and a virtualized environment is discussed to provide automatic elasticity. Running applications may be monitoring for increased workload, which may trigger a proactive and / or reactive response. The triggered proactive or reactive response includes executing a remediation action upon workloads exceeding set thresholds, as set by a pre-determined monitoring policy. The remediation actions may include the provisioning of additional virtual or physical computing resources to reduce the workload below the set threshold.

Media file distribution with adaptive transmission protocols

A server / client media file distribution system is provided in which the server system is adapted to receive transmission requests from clients, status information from a network, and protocol information from each client. The server, based upon this information, adaptively transmits a given media file stored therein to one or more clients using the optimal transmission speed and / or network protocol based on the network status information and protocol information. Additionally, the present invention provides a looping file arrangement in which a plurality of clients can receive the same media file on multiple network channels, without the need to provide multiple copies of the same media file for each request of that file.

Method and system for consistent cluster operational data in a server cluster using a quorum of replicas

A method and system for increasing server cluster availability by requiring at a minimum only one node and a quorum replica set of replica members to form and operate a cluster. Replica members, independent from the nodes, maintain cluster operational data. A cluster operates when one node possesses a majority of replica members, which ensures that any new or surviving cluster includes consistent cluster operational data via at least one replica member from the immediately prior cluster. Arbitration provides exclusive ownership by one node of the replica members, including at cluster formation, and when the owning node fails. Arbitration uses a fast mutual exclusion algorithm and a reservation mechanism to challenge for and defend the exclusive reservation of each member. A quorum replica set algorithm brings members online and offline with data consistency, including updating unreconciled replica members, and ensures consistent read and update operations.

Consortium chain permission control method based on digital certificates and CA authentication system

The invention discloses a consortium chain permission control method based on digital certificates and a CA authentication system. In a consortium chain, the enrollment control and automatic authorization of the consortium chain are realized through a layered digital certificate issuance system. The method of the invention pre-defines three kinds of permission mechanisms for respectively controlling enrollment permissions between consortium chain nodes, role permissions of the consortium chain nodes and access permissions of blockchain users. Three kinds of digital certificates including the enrollment certificate, role certificate and transaction certificate are used for respectively controlling the three permissions of node enrollment, role identification and client enrollment. An internationally accepted elliptic curve digital signature algorithm or a national crypto digital signature algorithm is used for achieving the generation of the digital certificates and secure message signature and validation, the defects of being large in permission granularity of a traditional blockchain or even having no enrollment functions and the like are overcome, the blockchain users are provided with anonymous transaction features, the security of blockchain transactions is improved, and the privacy needs of the users are met.

Low power signal processing for spread spectrum receivers

A direct sequence spread spectrum architecture permits low power consumption during a synchronization phase of data reception by allowing the receiver to be turned off during most of the acquisition phase of reception, or by using a parallel correlator to keep acquisition time short. The architecture is particularly suitable for global positioning satellite (GPS) signal processing and permits multiple satellite codes and multiple Doppler bins to be searched either sequentially, without requiring the receiver to be turned on during the search process. The receiver output baseband data is sampled and stored over a time interval sufficient to achieve acquisition and synchronization for any one code division multiple access (CDMA) signal at any specific Doppler shift. This sample is digitally recorded and re-played from memory as many times as may be required to acquire and synchronize each desired CDMA signal. To keep processing energy consumption low, an analog (capacitor-based) cross-correlator is used. The order of coherent and non-coherent processing for all code-Doppler channels is chosen to maximize energy efficiency while minimizing required processor hardware.
