Bicycle safety riding monitor

The invention discloses a bicycle safety riding monitor which comprises a single chip microcomputer and a power module used for supplying power. The input end of the single chip microcomputer is connected with a Hall speed sensor, left and right handle detection modules and a rear seat detection module in sequence. The output end of the single chip microcomputer is connected with a voice module and a liquid crystal display module. The output end of the voice module is provided with a loudspeaker. The monitor of the structure is correspondingly installed and applied to a bicycle, whether a rider rides the bicycle with one hand or no hand unsafely is monitored through the left and right handle detection modules, whether the running bicycle is overspeed or not is monitored through the Hall speed sensor, and whether a rear seat of the running bicycle carries a person or not is monitored through the rear seat detection module, so that the phenomenon that middle school students ride the bicycle with one hand or no hand or ride the bicycle at the too high speed is effectively prevented, the warning and reminding effect is achieved, and safety running of the bicycle is better ensured. The bicycle safety riding monitor has the advantages of being simple in structure, sensitive in reaction and high in practicability.

Intersection visibility determination device, vehicle with intersection visibility determination device, and method for determining intersection visibility

An intersection visibility determination device includes an ECU that determines visibility at an intersection. When a host vehicle approaches an intersection with a stop sign, the ECU calculates conflict points at which a trajectory vector of the host vehicle intersects with virtual trajectory vectors of intersecting objects, which are presumed to come from the right side and the left side of the intersection, respectively. The conflict points are calculated based on information on types and traveling positions of the intersecting objects. The ECU sets visibility determination areas at the intersection as viewed from the host vehicle based on the positions of the conflict points, the right-side and the left-side visibility target distances, and the current location of the host vehicle, and calculates, based on the visibility determination areas, visibility distances that are used as visibility parameters indicating whether the visibility at the intersection is good or poor.
