The present invention relates to a
ceramic film tube made of
silicon carbide combined with
oxide, which is composed of a film (1), a tube body (2) and a filtering frame (3). The integral materials of the
ceramic film tube are processed with binder, surfactant,
plasticizer, pore-forming agent and
preservative. The fabrication processes of the
ceramic film tube include the
processing of tubular main body materials, the
processing of auxiliary
processing materials and filming materials. The weight portions of the tubular main body materials are as follows: 85 to 92 portions of
silicon carbide, 6 to 12 portions of fine
silicon powder, 0 to 5 portions of kaoline, 0 to 3 portions of powdered
alumina and 0 to 5 portions of silica
sol; the weight portions of the auxiliary processing materials: 0 to 3 portions of fine metallic silicon
powder, 2 to 4 portions of binder, 2 to 4 portions of
lubricant, 0 to 0.5 portions of surfactant, 0.5 to 1 portions of
plasticizer, 3 to 5 portions of pore-forming agent, 0.1 to 0.5 portions of
preservative and water; and the weight portions of the filming materials are as follows: 20 portions of fine Alpha Al2O3
powder, 70 portions of fine Al(OH)3 powder and 10 portions of kaoline. The ceramic film tube has the advantages of
porosity larger than 40 percent, press resistance, bending resistance, good
thermal stability, large strength, high filtering speed and good filtering effect. The ceramic film tube can be widely used in a filtering basin, a filter and other filtering devices.
