The use of relatively small electropositive metal atoms (A″) helps fill the tetrahedral (e.g., Al, Si, Ti, Mg, or Mn), octahedral (e.g., Nb, V, Mg, or Mn) and trigonal bipyramid (e.g., V, Nb) interstices of the crystals. The stability of capacitor leakage current may be improved by variation in this crystal structure.

An interface reaction, through collision between organic-phase and water-phase liquid drops, of reactants is initiated through ultrasound wave, thereby producing stable vaterite-phase trigonal bipyramid-shaped calcium carbonate nano-particles which has the surface (100), particle size being about 200-300 nm.

A metal nanoframe with an array structure and its preparation method and application

Preparation method of high-purity gold nanobicones and composite nanomaterials thereof

The invention provides a method which is efficient, suitable for large-scale production and used for purifying a conventional low-yield gold nanoparticle bipyramid and preparing a composite nanomaterial of the gold nanoparticle bipyramid. The purity of the obtained gold nanoparticle bipyramid reaches up to 97%. According to the method, quality difference between the gold nanoparticle bipyramid and impurities is increased according to different growth rates of silver on the surfaces of the gold nanoparticle bipyramid and the impurities, so that separation of the gold nanoparticle bipyramid and the impurities is realized with a sedimentation or centrifugation method; then a silver shell layer on the surface of the gold nanoparticle bipyramid is removed with ammonia water and hydrogen peroxide, so that the gold nanoparticle bipyramid with the purity reaching up to 97% and an excellent optical property is obtained; and the gold nanoparticle bipyramid composite nanomaterial cladded with silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, cerium dioxide and cuprous oxide is further prepared through hydrolysis of ethyl orthosilicate, a soluble titanium source, a soluble titanium source and a soluble copper source respectively.
