Process for making improved oral compositions

Processes for preparing an oral care composition having improved taste, color, odor and / or clarity, wherein said processes comprise the steps of: providing an unfiltered dentifrice component selected from unfiltered alkyl phosphate surfactants, alkyl phosphate ethoxylated surfactants, lauryl sulfate surfactants, betaine surfactants, antibacterial agents, cetyl pyridinium chloride, metal Salts, phytic acids, or mixtures thereof; filtering the unfiltered dentifrice component with an adsorbent to form a filtered dentifrice component; and incorporating the filtered dentifrice component into the oral care composition.
