The method comprises the following steps: taking dry leaves of macaranga tanarius as raw materials, putting into a flash type extractor; taking hydrous ethanol as an extraction solvent for flash type extraction; filtering to obtain an extract liquid, followed by concentration; putting concentrated solution on a big-hole adsorption resin column; eluting by using water and 50-65 percent ethanol in sequence; adopting an anion exchange resin column, performing eluting by the NaOH solution; collecting the eluant; collecting the off-column liquid by using the cation exchange resin column, and obtaining the pomegranate foline through decompression and concentration. The method adopts flash type extraction and resin separation technology, is efficient and environment-friendly, and therefore is suitable for large-scale industrial production.
