Traffic between logic LSIs and memory is increasing year by year and there is demand for increase of capacity of communication between them and reduction of power consumption in the communication. Communication distances between LSIs can be reduced by stacking the LSIs. However, in a simple stack of logic LSIs and memory LSIs, it is difficult to ensure heat dissipation to cope with increasing heat densities and ensure transmission characteristics for fast communication with the outside of the stacked package. Also required is a connection topology that improves the performance of communication among the stacked LSIs while ensuring the versatility of the LSIs. An external-communication LSI, a memory LSI, and a logic LSI are stacked in this order in a semiconductor package and are interconnected by through silicon vias. Output terminals of multiple stacked LSIs are connected to an input terminal of a through silicon via of the stacked memory LSI and input terminals of multiple stacked LSIs are connected to an output terminal of a through silicon via of the stacked memory LSI, thereby directly connecting both of the external-communication LSI and the logic LSI to a wiring line of the memory LSI.

The design is amenable to implementation as a CMOS integrated circuits, making the circuit suitable for a highly integrated system, such as automatic test equipment where multiple time measurement circuits are required. The circuit uses a delay locked loop to generate a plurality of signals that are delayed in time by an interval D. The signal to be measured is fed to a bank of delay elements, each with a slightly different delay with the difference in delay between the first and the last being more than D. An accurate time measurement is achieved by finding coincidence between one of the TAP signals and one of the delay signals. The circuit has much greater accuracy than a traditional delay line based time measurement circuit with the same number of taps. It therefore provides both accuracy and fast re-fire time and is less susceptible to noise.

Energy efficient range

Techniques for designing and creating energy efficient cookware are provided. In accordance with the techniques cookware can include a base and a wall and a linear pattern of flame guide channels connected to the base bottom. The guide channels accept flames and guide them to the perimeter from the central region resulting in efficient heat exchange. The linear channel profiles provides significant surface area enhancement from a given area on the bottom to improve heat transfer while providing even heating and mechanical strength to the cookware. A flame entrance opening is provided in the center region of the base to allow easy entrance of the flame into the channels. A gas burner flame pattern is provided to work with the linear channels profiles of the cookware to further improve the energy efficiency. A method of making the efficient cookware is provided involving deep drawing an extruded fin plate; A method of making the efficient cookware is provided involving spin cutting and spin forming of an extruded plate. A plate with heat exchange features that can be used either as the base of a piece of cookware or attached to the base of a piece of cookware can improve efficiency of heat transfer to the cookware.

The solar combined type phase-changing heat-storing warming system utilizes the combined mode of various pipelines and valves of the solar heat collector and the heat-storing characteristics of high heat-storing quantity and stable temperature of the phase-changing heat-storing material to overcome the defect of unstable solar radiation, so that the time for starting the auxiliary heat source is shortened. The system is energy-saving and environment-friendly.
