The ginkgo leaf-based porous carbon material can be recycled, after cycling for five times, the hydrogen release is completed for 60s, the hydrogen release rate is 2,158ml s<-1> g<-1>, and 58% of first-time hydrogen release rate is maintained. By catalyzing ammonia borane at different temperatures for hydrolysis tests, relatively low activation energy Ea=23.86 kJ mol<-1> is shown. The ginkgo leaf-based porous carbon material has a broad application prospect in the fields of manufacturing hydrogen materials, fuel cells and the like.
