The invention discloses a
leak detection device for an auto air condition
receiver drier and an application method thereof, which relates to a link detection technology and belongs to the technical field of
pressure vessel detection. The
leak detection device mainly comprises a
workbench, a
handle, a handspike, a pressure plate, a steel thread support bracket, an air tap, a pressurized-water mechanism, a lighting device, an operation keyboard, a
timer and a counter. The method comprises the following steps: placing a drier to be detected on the steel thread support bracket in an inspection
pool, and plugging the air tap; rotating the
handle to drive the handspike to move the pressure plate; respectively utilizing the press plate and a rubber plate to tightly compress the two ends of the drier to be detected;
trampling a pedal to the lowest end so as to lead a pressurized-water plate to press the water in a
water storage chamber into the inspection
pool through drain holes; carrying out
voltage limiting inflation on the drier; and finally observing whether bubbles bubble up from the surface of the drier in the inspection
pool within the given time so as to judge the gas tightness of the drier and mark. The invention has the functions of counting and timing, and has the advantages of simple and convenient operation, high efficiency, higher inspection precision, low cost and suitability for being used in link detection of various auto air condition
receiver-driers.
