Optical flow sensor using a fast correlation algorithm

An optical flow sensor determines the velocity of a moving flow of air or other gas utilizing a plurality of photodetectors spaced apart in a direction parallel to the direction of gas flow. An optical beam is transmitted to the photodetectors across the flowing gas. Scintillations that occur in the flowing gas due to eddies and particulates in the gas are detected in the photodetectors at slightly different times. The output signals of the photodetectors are conditioned, amplified and transformed to digital form. Temporal cross correlation analysis is then performed on the digitized signals in a digital signal processor utilizing a fast correlation algorithm in which the total number of calculations is proportional to 2N, as contrasted with conventional systems in which the number of correlations is proportional to N2. A time differential between signals from the different photodetectors is then calculated electronically. The velocity of gas flow is then determined by dividing the spatial distance of separation between adjacent photodetectors by the time difference at which the same scintillation event is detected by each photodetector.

According to design principles, outstanding anti-interference and signal penetrating capacities of the LoRa wireless module are utilized under the ground to conduct communication so that stability of signals can be guaranteed; on the ground, through the NB-IoT module, uploading of data and intercommunication between users are achieved; and by means of the platform of Internet of things, updating, adjustment and pre-overhaul of products are convenient.

Three-dimensional reconstruction method of micro-amplitude waves on free liquid surface

The invention relates to a three-dimensional reconstruction method of micro amplitude waves of a free liquid surface. The three-dimensional reconstruction method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: arranging a reference image on the bottom surface of a laboratory tank; vertically and downwardly shooting images of the reference image underwater before and after liquid surface fluctuation from the upper side of the liquid surface by utilizing a camera or a digital CCD (Charge Coupled Device); with the image in the static water before fluctuation as a first frame image and theimage after liquid surface fluctuation as a second frame image, carrying out cross-correlation analysis by utilizing a particle image velocimetry technology to obtain the distortion quantity of the image after the liquid level fluctuation; obtaining the entire wave slope values of the free liquid surface through calculation of the distortion quantity; and obtaining the surface wave amplitude of the free liquid surface through the numerical integration of the wave slope values. According to the invention, a simple and effective whole measurement measure is provided for the minimum-amplitude fluctuation of the free liquid surface under a laboratory environment, meanwhile, the instantaneous whole fluctuation can be obtained. The invention has the advantages of simple equipment, convenience for operation, high application flexibility and low measurement cost.
