The casting powder has the characteristics that the melting point is small (865-988 DEG C), the viscosity is small (0.11-0.23Pa.s under 1,300 DEG C), the crystallizing rate is moderate (40-70%), etc. The casting powder can be applied well to the continuous casting of corrosion-resistant alloy steel (Fe-Cr-Ni system) containing 0 to 0.3% of Al and 0.8 to 1.1% of Ti in mass percentage.
