The invention discloses a small-sized
radar-
based wide-area
icing monitoring and pre-warning method for a
power transmission line. The method comprises the following steps: 1, arranging and mounting a
radar device and a
microclimate sensor according to a corridor condition of the
power transmission line; 2, setting a time interval-t, extracting weather
observation data in real time at the time interval serving as a unit, transmitting the data back, and caching the data into a
database; 3, analyzing
radar data, and when a
snow condition is met, deducing the
icing condition of the line via a
power transmission line
icing and
ice melting calculation model according to data of the
microclimate sensor; 4, setting a pre-warning threshold value according to a
tower parameter, and when the icing value is greater than the threshold value, performing icing pre-warning. According to the small-sized radar-
based wide-area icing monitoring and pre-warning method, the small-sized radar supplies the detailed
weather condition of a line corridor; the small-sized radar-
based wide-area icing monitoring and pre-warning method has the advantages of wide monitoring range and high
weather data precision. In the method, the
tower parameter is used for icing thickness pre-warning for the first time; compared with the existing method for pre-warning the icing thickness based on the line theory, the method is higher in accuracy.
