The present invention provides a resin composition which serves as an
adhesive for accurately fixing a component made of a material such as
metal or plastic. This resin composition exhibits high initial adhesion to the material. In the durability tests including high-temperature and high-
humidity test, the resin composition exhibits high holding power, and is rarely deformed even when heated under loading as well as when heated, thus inhibiting the movement of the part. An actinic
radiation curable resin composition characterized by comprising (A) a polyfunctional
acrylate compound having four or more (
meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, (B) a photocurable
prepolymer, (C) a mono- or bi-functional (
meth)acryloyl -containing
monomer and (D) a photopolymerization initiator, said polyfunctional
acrylate compound (A) being selected from the group consisting of (a1)
glycerol derivatives, and linear or branched polymers thereof which each comprise
ether skeletons as the connecting functional groups, (a2)
trimethylolpropane derivatives, and linear or branched polymers thereof which each comprise
ether skeletons as the connecting functional groups, (a3) monomeric
pentaerythritol derivatives, and linear or branched polymers thereof which each comprise
ether skeletons as the connecting functional groups, and (a4)dendrimers which contain ether or ester bonds and in which (
meth)acryloyl groups are present at four or more terminals.
