The dicyclopentadiene unsaturated polyester resin prepared by the method disclosed by the invention is suitable for PE (polyethylene) colored primers, PE transparent primers and other coatings, can bright excellent paint film smooth performance, and is further good in transparency and resistance to cold and hot whitening.
