The method disclosed the invention is used for precise qualitative and quantitative analysis of the free fatty acids in actual samples, so that the problems that double-bond positions of the unsaturated fatty acids, particularly polyunsaturated fattyacids, are difficult to authenticate and the fatty acids are low in ionization efficiency and poor in detection sensitivity under a negative ion mode are solved, and high-sensitivity and accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis for the free fatty acids in the actual samples is realized.

The cap member is thin and has an arcuate axial cross section. It is laser-beam welded to the seat-abutment portion formed at the open end of the fillet portion such that a weld bead is formed along the inner periphery of the interface of the mated ends of the members. The weld bead adds an extra weld depth to the weld, which increases the modulus of section of the welded regions of the cap member and the fillet portion and enhances their welding strength.

Process for forming CMOS devices using removable spacers

A process for forming CMOS devices is disclosed in which disposable spacers are used to obtain a structure having improved gap-fill characteristics. First, gate film stacks are formed on the substrate. A shallow implant process is performed so as to form shallow source / drain implant regions. A layer of oxide and a layer of silicon nitride are deposited and etched to form a first set of spacers that extend on opposite sides of the gate film stacks. A second implant is performed so as to form intermediate source / drain implant regions. A set of disposable spacers are then formed that extend on opposite sides of each of the gate film stacks. A third implant process is performed so as to form deep source / drain implant regions. The disposable spacers are then removed, providing more space for the subsequently-formed contact to land.

Disclosed is a method that preferably performs transmission processing to a time sequence signal of a known pattern as the pre-amble and an OFDM transmitted signal. In data communications, the general practice defines the pre-amble and detects the peaks of the mutual correlation to thereby detect synchronization. The pre-amble here is defined by the binary value in most cases for simplification of a correlation detecting device. In this case, the spectrum becomes irregular with sharp peaks and dips, which deteriorates the correlation characteristic. The method of the invention forcibly adjusts the spectrum amplitude of the pre-amble pattern on the transmitting side while retaining the phase information thereof, and thereby the method improves the spectrum and correlation characteristics while securing simplification of a correlation detecting device on the receiving side.
