The invention relates to porridge of tuckahoe, Chinese dodder and
lotus seed with
Chinese herbs and a preparation method thereof. The porridge of the tuckahoe, the Chinese dodder and the
lotus seed with the
Chinese herbs can give full play to the properties of traditional Chinese medicines, prevents degeneration to keep the
curative effect and has convenient taking and simple preparation. The porridge of the tuckahoe, the Chinese dodder and the
lotus seed with the
Chinese herbs is prepared by decocting the following 18 traditional Chinese medicines: 50 grams of chestnut, 15 grams of talcum or dragon's bone, 15 grams of
oyster, 5 grams of tuckahoe, 5 grams of
semen euryales, 5 grams of lotus seed, 4 grams of
Polygonum aviculare, 4 grams of
polyporus umbellatus, 4 grams of rhizoma alismatis, 4 grams of yam
rhizome, 3 grams of
gardenia, 3 grams of radix linderae, 3 grams of
vegetable sponge, 3 grams of
pteris multifida, 3 grams of herba pyrrosiae, 3 grams of Chinese dodder, 2 grams of licorice tip and 2 grams of peach kernel; the preparation method of the porridge of the tuckahoe, the Chinese dodder and the lotus seed with the Chinese herbs comprises the following steps: (1) after decocting the 14 traditional Chinese medicines of the talcum or the dragon's bone, the
oyster, the
Polygonum aviculare, the
polyporus umbellatus, the rhizoma alismatis, the yam
rhizome, the
gardenia, the radix linderae, the
vegetable sponge, the
pteris multifida, the herba pyrrosiae, the Chinese dodder, the licorice tip and the peach kernel for 40 minutes by using clear water, taking clarified liquor; (2)
grinding the tuckahoe into fine particles, putting into the already decocted liquor together with the chestnut, the lotus seed and the
semen euryales, adding the clear water and cooking into porridge; and (3) finally, adding a
sweetening agent into the porridge and stirring evenly so as to obtain the porridge of the tuckahoe, the Chinese dodder and the lotus seed with the Chinese herbs.
