The invention discloses a belt detection alarming
system based on
laser ranging, which adopts a noncontact
measuring principle, and can effectively avoid the faults such as missing and error in report of a
stroke switch measurement due to the influence of a contact environment. The
system adopts a centralized
data processing way, realizes the accurate measurement and monitoring simultaneously for multiple belts, the surface of a material is scanned by virtue of a
laser scanning
ranging device, a distance value from a
laser head to the surface of the material is acquired, an edge position of each belt is acquired by virtue of the distance value, the edge position is compared with the belt edge position recorded when the device is calibrated, whether the belt is deviated or not can be judged, when the belt is deviated, a belt control device is notified to make corresponding action by transmitting a
pulse control signal, and the belt device is prevented from being damaged. According to the
system, fewer devices and parts are used, the structure is simple, the detection reliability is high, the
system maintenance cost is low, and the belt detection alarming system is suitable for being popularized in various transport belt application industries.
