The invention relates to a double-chamber
system used for the release detection of volatile chemical pollutants of indoor building materials, belonging to the field of indoor environment tests. The
system comprises two identically designed environmental chambers, one stainless steel shell simultaneously supporting the two environmental chambers and providing water bath spaces and one set of water-bath heater providing constant temperature hot water, wherein two holes with the
diameter of being identical with that of each
environmental chamber are arranged on the top part of the stainless steelshell, and the two environmental chambers are arranged in the inner space of the shell by the two holes and then welded and fixed; and each
environmental chamber comprises one cylindrical chamber body, a chamber cover the
diameter of which is identical with that of the chamber body, a sealing ring pressed between the chamber body and the chamber cover and an annular sealing clamp groove clampingthe chamber body, the sealing ring and the chamber cover together. The double-chamber
system is compact, portable, simple and reliable, does not adsorb VOCs and has excellent sealing performance, airin the chambers is uniformly mixed, and the manufacturing cost is not high. A parallel experiment, a repeated experiment and a contrast experiment can be simultaneously carried out by using the two chambers for measurement, thus shortening the detection time.
