The invention relates to a method for evaluating structuralization of a methyl vinyl
silicone rubber product. The method comprises the following steps: weighing methyl vinyl
silicone rubber, adding methyl vinyl
silicone rubber into dimethyl cyclosiloxane, stirring and dissolving until the sample is completely dissolved, pouring a solution into a
beaker, placing the
beaker into a constant temperature and
humidity incubator, measuring dynamic
viscosity u1 of the solution after temperature of the solution in the
beaker reaches a set value, adding an
adhesive and a catalyst, sealing and uniformly stirring, and measuring dynamic
viscosity u2 of the solution in the above constant temperature and
humidity incubator. Gelification
viscosity ratio is u2 / u1. That is to say, gelification index reflects structuralization degree of the
raw rubber product. A traditional method for examination of
raw rubber structuralization comprises steps of mixing
raw rubber, white
carbon black and hydroxyl
silicone oil by an open mill, carrying out heat treatment, cooling and remilling. Remilling frequency reflects structuralization degree of raw rubber. The method of the invention has advantages of simple evaluation operation, rapid evaluation speed and accurate
evaluation result, and can be used to more visually evaluate product quality and more objectively guide clients to use the product.
