A method for fuel route planning is implemented on a system including: a dispatch computer for interfacing with a fuel route plan user; and a central server computer in communication with the dispatch computer through a network. The central server computer is for: receiving an origin airport and a destination airport for a flight of an aircraft; determining a flight trajectory between the origin airport and the destination airport; retrieving a plurality of refueling airports located adjacent to the flight trajectory; retrieving fuel price information associated with a plurality of FBOs located at the plurality of refueling airports; presenting the flight trajectory and the plurality of refueling airports on an aeronautical / geospatial map; and displaying the fuel price information associated with the plurality of FBOs located at the plurality of refueling airports for use in compiling a fuel route plan.

The present invention provides a low-cost ozone production method and apparatus for carrying out ozone / oxygen separation using an ozone adsorbent, that re-uses the recovered oxygen as a feed for ozone production, and that desorbs and recovers the adsorbed ozone using dry air. In the method and apparatus, a gas containing an ozone and oxygen two-component gas supplied from an ozone generator is pressurized, introduced into an ozone adsorbent-packed adsorption column, and brought into contact with the adsorbent to adsorb the ozone to the adsorbent. Using dry air as a counterflow purge gas for the adsorbed ozone, the ozone is desorbed from the ozone adsorbent-packed adsorption column loaded with adsorbed ozone by depressurizing the adsorption column or air is introduced as a purge gas from the rear of the column into the adsorbent bed, whereby an ozone and air two-component gas is recovered. The method and apparatus use, as the ozone adsorbent, at least one selected from the group consisting of (1) pentasil-type zeolites, (2) acid-treated pentasil-type zeolites, (3) mesoporous silica, and (4) acid-treated mesoporous silica.

The present invention provides, at low cost, a self-supporting package which is excellent in heat resistance and can be sterilized at high temperatures and the content of which is drunk through a straw. That is, the present invention provides a self-supporting bag which comprises front and back materials consisting of a composite film having a seal layer and having flexibility, and a bottom material consisting of said composite film and folded in the form of the letter W between the front material and the back material, wherein a straw-thrusting film consisting of said composite film is folded in the form of the letter M between the front material and the back material in inverse direction to the bottom material and provided from one side seal to the other side seal of the self-supporting bag, the straw-thrusting film being heat-welded to either one of the front material and the back material, and further provides a self-supporting package comprising said self-supporting bag which is charged with a content and closed by sealing, wherein a seal part is provided in the upper portion of the bag, said seal part having an unsealed part having a width of 2 mm or more in longitudinal direction including therein the upper edge of the straw-thrusting film and a width in lateral direction within the width of the self-supporting bag.

Epitaxis apparatus and method

An epistaxis apparatus for use with a sphygmomanometer having an arm cuff comprising: i) an air filled compressible rubber reservoir bulb sized to be received within the arm cuff for compression therein; ii) a flexible hose having one end connected to an end portion of the compressible bulb; and, iii) an inflatable nasal bladder having a front end portion connected to another end potion of the hose having an exterior shape generally sized to fill a nasal cavity. When the sphygmomanometer is pumped to a selected pressure, the nasal bladder expands within the nasal cavity to the selected pressure stopping a nose bleed. In a preferred aspect of this invention the nasal bladder comprises two similar side portions so that each nasal cavity of a user may receive one of the nasal bladders so that when the apparatus is pumped to the selected pressure each side portion will be similarly pressured and septal deviation with its associated discomfort will be avoided. Each side portion of the bladder further comprises a breathing tube extending through the bladder from a front to a rear side portion thereof so that after the side portions of the bladder are positioned and pressurized within the nasal cavity the user will be able to breath through the breathing tubes therein.

The sensible heat of an exhaust gas of a power generator, a combustion device, or a transport device 21 in a virtual area wherein a plurality of energy-consuming devices 23 are provided (energy supply and demand grid) is recovered as H2 or CO+H2 by reforming dimethyl ether (DME); and the H2 or CO+H2 is supplied as fuel for the energy-consuming devices 23 or as a chemical raw material within the energy supply and demand grid or to another energy supply and demand grid. By forming an energy cycle in society using DME, for example, waste heat of factories and electric power plants can be effectively utilized as energy in society as a whole, e.g., as energy for consumers or transportation.
