The present invention discloses a double-side vertical slot type fishway with
high energy dissipation and suitable for bidirectional
water flow, and is characterized in that the double-side vertical slot type fishway comprises a fishway body, a plurality of
pier columns and a plurality of vertical slot type separator plates; the
pier columns are disposed over sidewalls of the fishway body; the upstream and downstream
water level difference is divided into a plurality of stages by the vertical slot type separator plates; a
pool chamber is formed between the adjacent vertical slot type separator plates; the vertical slot type separator plates are disposed at the central position of the cross section of the fishway body; bottoms of the vertical slot type separator plates are fixed on a base plate of the fishway body; fish passing vertical slots are formed by the
pier columns and the vertical slot type separator plates; and the
pool chambers are connected via the vertical slots. According to the double-side vertical slot type fishway with
high energy dissipation and suitable for bidirectional
water flow,
excess energy of the upstream and downstream water head is eliminated through water cushions, streamwise fiction and
water flow opposite thrust and
diffusion between the vertical slot type separator plates, so that the double-side vertical slot type fishway can be suitable for
hydraulic engineering having bidirectional water heads at a river side or a sea side, energy dissipation effects are good under forward water flow and reverse water flow conditions, integrity of original
population is maintained, and the influence of
hydraulic engineering construction on current river channels and biologic chains is maximumly reduced.
