Flexible organic light emitting display device and method for manucaturing the same

There is provided a flexible display having a new wire structure and a new insulating layer structure. A flexible display includes a flexible substrate having a first area and a second area. The second area is curved in a non-zero angle relative to the plane of the first area. The flexible display further includes a plurality of wires that extend over from the first area to the second area of the flexible substrate. Each of the wires is covered by an upper insulating pattern, which is separated from other upper insulating pattern. Each upper insulating pattern covering the wire has substantially the same trace pattern shape of the corresponding wire thereunder. Accordingly, by adopting the above-described wire structure and upper insulating layer structure, crack generation and propagation in the wires and the insulating layers from bending of the flexible display can be minimized.

Traffic policing in a mobile ad hoc network

The method includes nodes transmitting quality-of-service (QoS) route requests to discover traffic routing based upon a QoS parameter, and the QoS route requests including a traffic flow identifier. Each node calculates a node QoS tag value to make traffic admission control decisions, and each node determines whether to admit traffic in response to QoS route requests based upon the calculated QoS tag value and the QoS parameter of QoS route requests. Also, each node replies to QoS route requests to indicate whether the node can support the QoS parameter of the route request and admit the traffic, and each node polices admitted traffic based upon the traffic flow identifier to ensure that admitted traffic does not exceed the QoS parameter of the QoS route request.

Lithographic projection apparatus and particle barrier for use therein

A lithographic projection apparatus for EUV lithography includes a foil trap. The foil trap forms an open structure after the EUV source to let the EUV radiation pass unhindered. The foil trap is configured to be rotatable around an optical axis. By rotating the foil trap, an impulse transverse to the direction of propagation of the EUV radiation can be transferred on debris present in the EUV beam. This debris will not pass the foil trap. In this way, the amount of debris on the optical components downstream of the foil trap is reduced.

Synchronizing property changes to enable multiple control options

Components in an information processing system are represented by software objects whose properties can be changed through function calls. Setting a property of an object controls the associated component. Properties are connected through routes that propagate state changes throughout the system without the need for a running client application. Two-way property routes are used to keep consistence among a controlled object and multiple controlling objects without the risk of endless loops. To achieve this, the two-way route is executed to change a state of a specific one of the properties upon a change of state of another one of the properties if the change of state of the other property was caused by an effect other than the route itself.

In still more detailed embodiments, the I-frame injector element operates in one of three modes that are associated with bandwidth parameters.

Radio link protocol (RLP)/point-to-point protocol (PPP) design that passes corrupted data and error location information among layers in a wireless data transmission protocol

InactiveUS7031257B1Reduces or avoids unnecessary packet discardingImprove performanceError preventionTransmission systemsPoint-to-Point ProtocolError location
A radio link protocol (RLP) / point-to-point protocol (PPP) design is disclosed for wireless multimedia packet networks that passes corrupted packet data and error location information among OSI layers. The RLP layer provides erasure data frames and optionally error location indicators to the PPP layer. When the PPP layer has access to the erasure data frames, the data frames can be padded with a predefined value, such as all zeroes “0” to prevent error propagation from one data frame (or octet) to the following data frames (or octets). When the PPP layer has access to the error location information, the PPP layer can detect if the PPP packet header is corrupted. When a valid header is detected, the PPP layer forwards the packet payload to the higher layers (TCP, UDP) whether or not the payload is properly received. Thus, the application has access to all the usable information, so the application can determine whether and how to utilize the information. The RLP / PPP design of the present invention allows packets with partially corrupted payloads to still be forwarded to the UDP layer and then to the application layer.
