A system for preventing stall in a centrifugal compressor. The compressor includes an impeller rotatably mounted in a housing and a nozzle base plate fixed to the housing adjacent the impeller. The nozzle base plate cooperates with the housing to define a diffuser gap. The base plate includes a plurality of mechanism support blocks positioned on the backside of the nozzle base plate. A drive ring, mounted to the support blocks, is rotationally moveable with respect to the support blocks and the nozzle base plate between a first position and a second position. Connected to the drive ring is a diffuser ring that moves in response to movement of the drive ring. Diffuser ring moves between a retracted position that is not within the diffuser gap and an extended position extending into the diffuser gap to constrict the gap opening and reduce the flow of fluid through the diffuser gap. The diffuser ring can be positioned at any location between the retracted and extended position to control the amount of fluid flowing through the diffuser gap.

The present invention pertains to a method for preparation of superhydrophobic timber on the basis of a sol-gel method, and the method is as follows: (1), silica sol synthesis, to be more specific, materials are prepared in the volume ratio of ammonia to anhydrous ethanol to ethyl orthosilicate of 1:15 to 17:1; (2), hydrophobic modification of monodispersed nano silica sol, to be more specific, hexadecyl trimethoxysilane, or triethoxysilane-1H, 1H, 2H, 2H-heptadecafluorodecyl silane is used for hydrophobic modification of the synthesized monodispersed nano silica sol, and the hydrophobic agent promotes mutual aggregation of nanoparticles to promote the formation of aggregates of silica nanoparticles; and (3) timber coating processing, to be more specific, the timber surface is coated with the hydrophobically modified silica sol solution by dipping or spraying process. Contact angles of the processed timber surface and water droplets are greater than 150 degrees, roll angles are less than 10 degrees, and a superhydrophobic film has good resistance to acid and alkali erosion and stability in high-humidity environment. The method is simple in operation, less demanding on equipment, and capable of scale production, and has wide market prospects.

When the triazole composition operating fluid is used to carry out vacuum pressurizing treatment on a wood bamboo material, the wood bamboo material is dried until the water content of 20-25%, 5-9% low-molecular weight (the molecular weight is smaller than 1000) phenolic resin (PF) is used to carry out secondary vacuum pressurizing treatment, and the two-stage treated wood bamboo material has excellent corrosion, mildew and discoloration resistance and excellent triazole anti-loss performance after being dried.

The method is rapid in detection speed, and the total processing time of all the images of liquid medicine of the single bottle is within 100 ms. The sub-pixel-level accuracy is achieved for detection, the pixel deviation caused by vibration of a mechanical platform is eliminated, and the detection accuracy is greatly improved.

The size of the carbon nano-cage provided by the invention is smallest according to the present report, and is about 10 nm. In addition, the superfine carbon nano-cage structure prepared by the method has a rich pore structure, high specific surface area and excellent electrochemical performance, is low in preparation cost, can be efficiently put into production and use, and has relatively high market competitiveness.

The thin-film solar cell of the invention is an a-Si P-I-N junction layer has reasonable thickness design and the NIR (near infrared spectrum) energy can be completely absorbed by a CIGS P-N junction layer, thus greatly increasing the power of the thin-film solar cell; moreover, the P+ layer and the N+ layer which are ultrathin but heavily doped are respectively arranged outside the P-type a-Si layer and the N-type a-Si layer of the a-Si P-I-N junction layer, thus increasing the electric-field intensity of the I-type a-Si layer and increasing the power of the thin-film solar cell. Compared with the existing double-junction-layer structured solar cells of the same type, the thin-film solar cell of the invention can increase the power thereof by about 1.5% on average. The thin-film solar cell of the invention further has the advantages of high reliability and low manufacturing cost.

The invention discloses a novel soil purifying agent and application thereof to polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) contaminated soil restoration. As PBDEs has a strong hydrophobicity and is easy to adsorb intensively by soil, and very low in bio-availability, the treatment of the PBDEs contaminated soil is very difficult. To solve the problem, an anionic surfactant and iron group compound which are environment-friendly, cheap and easy to get are utilized to form a metal complex, namely the soil purifying agent, according to the molar ratio of (1:3)-(1:5); after being uniformly mixed with the soil, the soil purifying agent is added with humic acid, and soaked by water, then the soil purifying agent can be used for efficiently and rapidly purifying contaminated soil while the soil property is not changed and the bio-availability is improved. The novel soil purifying agent is suitable for PBDEs contaminated soil restoration, and has an excellent application prospect on the aspect of large-scale engineering application.
