UV Curable Silsesquioxane Resins For Nanoprint Lithography

Radiation-curable silsesquioxane resin materials are employed for micro- and nanolithography. The resin materials can include a radiation-curable silsesquioxane resin and a photo-initiator having low viscosity. The low viscosity of the liquid system allows imprinting with low pressure and low temperature; e.g. room temperature. The resist's dry etching resistance is increased and the cured film is more easily separated from the mask. Due to its high modulus after cure, the material allows the fabrication of micro- and nano-features having high aspect ratios while providing a high throughput. Various pattern sizes, for example, ranging from tens of microns to as small as a few nanometers, may be achieved with the UV-curable material system.

Fiberboard with improved water resistance

Articles, including fiberboard, are made from a pumpable, flowable slurry including alpha-calcined calcium sulfate hemihydrate anchored in pores of host particles, alpha-calcined calcium sulfate hemihydrate, a silicone compound, magnesium oxide, and water. The magnesium oxide catalyzes the reaction of the silicone compound into a silicone resin. In a preferred method of making a water resistant fiberboard calcium sulfate dihydrate is combined with the host particles and water to form a slurry which is heated under pressure to calcine the calcium sulfate dihydrate to form alpha-calcined calcium sulfate hemihydrate. After relieving the pressure, a silicone compound and magnesium oxide are added to the slurry. The slurry is dewatered to form a filter cake, which is then formed into a desired shape and allowed to set.

Fire resistant flexible ceramic resin blend and composite products formed therefrom

High heat resistant elastic composite laminates, sealants, adhesives, and coatings developed from a resin blend. The resin blend is made up of methyl and optionally phenyl silsequioxane resins selected to produce silanol-silanol condensation silicone polymers formed in a slowly evolving reaction mass containing submicron boron nitride, silica and boron oxide fillers. The required ratio of submicron boron nitride to silica has been discovered for assuring the formation of a high temperature resistant elastic composite blend that will form intermediate flexible ceramic products up to 600 deg C., then continue to form preceramic then dense ceramic products from 600 to 1000 deg C. The thermal yield of the composite is generally greater than 90 wt. % at 1000 deg C. Composite products with different levels of heat transformation can be fabricated within the same product depending upon the thickness of the layers of reinforcement.

Silicone resin and photosensitive resin composition containing the same

This invention relates to photosensitive silicone resins and resin compositions containing the same. Silicone resins of this invention are characterized by that a triorganosilyl group represented by the following general formula (1)wherein R is a divalent organic group and R' is a divalent group or a direct bond is linked to all or a part of the ends of the backbone of polyorganosilsesquioxanes. Photosensitive resin compositions of this invention are formulated from the aforementioned silicone resins and a photogenerator of acid. The aforementioned silicone resins and photosensitive resin compositions show excellent performance as resist materials for multi-level resist processes and for forming barriers of PDP and, on account of their excellent plasma resistance (resistance to O2-RIE), yield patterns of a high aspect ratio.

A method for preparing a nanoporous silicone resin which can be used to form low dielectric constant films useful for electrical insulating coatings on electronic devices comprising (A) contacting a hydridosilicon containing resin with a 1-alkene comprising about 8 to 28 carbon atoms in the presence of a platinum group metal-containing hydrosilation catalyst effecting formation of an alkylhydridosiloxane resin where at least 5 percent of silicon atoms are substituted with at least one group comprising about 8 to 28 carbon atoms and at least 45 percent of silicon atoms are substituted with at least one hydrogen atom and (B) heating the alkylhydridosiloxane resin of step (A) at a temperature sufficient to effect curing and thermolysis of alkyl groups comprising about 8 to 28 carbon atoms from the silicon atoms thereby forming a nanoporous silicone resin.

A silicone resin-containing emulsion composition is based on a silicone resin-containing emulsion obtained by emulsion polymerization of a mixture containing (A) a silanol group-bearing silicone resin and (B) a radical-polymerizable vinyl monomer. The silicone resin (A) contains 30-100 mol % of T units: R1-SiZ3, and specifically 30-80 mol % of T-2 units: R1-Si(OH)Z'2 among other T units wherein R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, Z is a OH group, hydrolyzable group or siloxane residue, and Z' is a siloxane residue, and has a number average molecular weight of at least 500. The composition has a good film forming ability and cures into a flexible film having mar, weather and chemical resistance.

The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: mixing the dicumyl peroxide and an azo foaming agent for later use, mixing other raw materials and then pouring into an internal mixer for first-stage internal mixing, then adding a mixture of the dicumyl peroxide and the azo foaming agent for second-stage internal mixing to obtain an internally mixed mixture, thinning the mixture on a roller machine, conveying the material which is evenly mixed by the roller machine into a granulator for granulation, proportioning aggregates after granulation according to set ratios, injecting the aggregates into a shoe mould by using an injection molding machine for molding, and sizing the molded soles into foamed profile products by using an incubator.

The present invention discloses a halogen-free anti-flaming PC / ABS alloy and a method for preparing the same, which belongs to the technical field of high molecular material. The prior halogen-free anti-flaming PC / ABS alloy has poor mechanical property and other properties. The PC / ABS alloy comprises the following components in weight percentage: 70 to 90 portions of PC, 5 to 35 portions of ABS, 3 to 7 portions of compatilizer, 3 to 8 portions of plasticizer, 9 to 16 portions of fire retardant phosphate organic matters, 0.3 to 1.5 portions of PTFE, 2 to 8 portions of silicone resin, 0.4 to 1.5 portions of nanometer inorganic filler, and 0.1 to 0.5 portion of antioxidant. By preparing PC / phosphate organic master batch and preparing ABS / nanometer inorganic filler master batch by an 'in situ bubble stretching method', both master batches are mixed with other components to obtain the halogen anti-flaming PC / ABS alloy. The PC / ABS alloy has high mechanical property and moderate cost.
