Transportable solar power system

A transportable, self-contained, solar power system comprised of a plurality of individual solar power arrays, each array being contained within a transportable frame. Each array is folded into a frame during transportation. Upon reaching a desired location, the frame is positioned at a desired location. The frame then acts as a base while its solar power array is activated and deployed. The array has the capability of tracking the position of the sun during deployment. Each frame has a global positioning system (GPS) and a controller containing a chart of sun locations for a given location. The controller positions a frame's solar array to maximize the array's exposure to the sun. Each frame has a battery system, enabling a frame's solar array to self-start after a period of darkness.

The invention relates to a bamboo rhizome cultivating method, which belongs to the technical field of bamboo forest cultivation. According to the invention, the bamboo rhizome cultivating method comprises the following steps of: (1) piling up ridge troughs: selecting a field with hard ground as a cultivating land and arranging ridge troughs on the cultivating land; (2) selecting and digging mother bamboos: shoveling the mother bamboos along the peripheral edges of the mother bamboos so as to form soil balls with the mother bamboos; (3) planting the mother bamboos: arranging the selected and dug mother bamboos in the ridge troughs and adding soils to the ridge troughs so as to pile up the ridge troughs; (4) inducing bamboo rhizomes: after growths of the bamboo rhizomes are recovered, covering 8-12 cm soils in furrows formed in a space between the adjacent ridge troughs, keeping the soils in a wet state, and inducing new bamboo rhizomes growing from the mother bamboos to grow into the furrows; and (5) treating and collecting the bamboo rhizomes: exposing the new bamboo rhizomes to sunlight so as to treat the bamboo rhizomes, and then collecting aged new bamboo rhizomes. The bamboo rhizome obtained by the bamboo rhizome cultivating method provided by the invention has the advantages of high yield, large toughness and long service life.

The container includes a first section, which at least partly includes a sunlight permeable layer, and a second section, which at least partly is opposite the first section and at least partly includes a sunlight absorbing and infrared radiation emitting (IR-emitting) layer. The first and the second section together enclose a volume, in which the water can be received to be heated by and exposed to sunlight. According to the present invention, the first section is arranged such that the permeable layer is essentially flat, and the second section is arranged such that the volume includes at least a first and a second portion, wherein the first and the second portion, respectively, have a first and a second distance, respectively, between the permeable layer and the sunlight absorbing and IR-emitting layer, where the first and second distances are mutually different. A temperature difference between the water in the first and second portion is created after a period of sun exposure.
