The invention relates to a method for simply and rapidly identifying the resistance of the pyricularia grisea. The method comprises the steps of: extracting a heading rice plant from the rice field, respectively taking rice internode stems with lengths of not less than 5cm above and below an internode by using the internode of a spike neck for later use; placing degreasing cotton in a moisturizing plastic box, irrigating 8-10ml of spore suspension solution each milliliter of which contains 0.6 millions pyricularia grisea; and placing the rice internode stems to be detected on the degreasing cotton, moisturizing and cultivating for 14 days at a temperature of 25-26 DEG C so that scabs which can be fully identified can be formed, wherein sizes and invasion degrees of the scabs are divided into five levels, the rice internode stems with 0-level or 1-level morphological characteristics are of a disease-resistant type R, the rice internode stems with 4-level morphological characteristics are of a disease-susceptible type S, and the rice internode stems with 2-level or 3-level morphological characteristics are of a middle type M. Identification can be carried out indoors by using a stem node inoculating method, thus errors caused by identification under the natural condition in the field are avoided. The method does not need equipment, and is simple and easy to operate and strong in practicability.
