The invention provides a method for repairing a seaweed field by culturing a
shellfish-
algae complex. The method comprises the following steps of collecting
wild species algae before
sargassum vachellii and
sargassum horneri are mature, temporarily culturing the
wild species algae in an outdoor water tank, and placing an
oxygenation pump for temporary culture; washing the seed algae with flowing water, collecting the
sargassum horneri and sargassum vachellii
juvenile sporophytes, and moving to a collecting
barrel; evenly laying
mytilus coruscus at the bottom of the collecting
barrel, smearing
spore liquid on the surface of the
mytilus coruscus through a
brush, slightly adding
seawater along the
barrel wall, and placing the
oxygenation pump outdoors for the temporary culture; after growing the
sargassum horneri and the sargassum vachellii to 5-10 centimeters on the surfaces of the
mytilus coruscus, separating the piled
mytilus coruscus one by one, and putting the
shellfish-algae complex into an algae field to restore a sea area. According to the method, attachment of the
juvenile sporophytes is completed in the culture pond firstly, then secondary attachment is rapidly achieved with the help of the
mytilus coruscus, the influence of sediments and illumination intensity on growth of the
juvenile sporophytes can be effectively avoided, and the finally-grown
shellfish-algae complex can better repair the algae field repair sea area.
