The invention relates to a broken line and
short circuit detection circuit and method for an earphone /
headset speaker. The detection circuit comprises an MCU, a measurement
signal voltage division circuit and a
high frequency signal amplification and protection circuit; a detection
control signal output end of the MCU is connected with the
high frequency signal amplification and protection circuit, and a
voltage signal input end of the MCU is connected with the
high frequency signal amplification and protection circuit through the measurement signal
voltage division circuit; and the high frequency
signal amplification and protection circuit is arranged between the earphone /
headset speaker and an
audio signal output circuit. The method comprises the following steps: sending a DC or AC detection
control signal by the MCU, and reading a detection voltage value of the earphone /
headset speaker by the measurement signal voltage division circuit; and judging whether the broken line or
short circuit occurs according to a threshold. The circuit and the method of the invention are used for radio interphones, mobile phones and electronic sound playback equipment, and can timely detect the broken line /
short circuit faults of the earphone / headset speaker, so as not to affect the use. The broken line and short circuit detection circuit and the method for the earphone / headset speaker provided by the invention have the advantages of being low in cost, simple in circuit, practical, reliable and so on.
