The invention provides a 10kV multifunctional anti-disaster insulator and a preparation method therefor. The insulator comprises an arc-shaped wire duct fitting, an upwards bent rod-shaped discharge electrode, a composite insulator assembly, an insulating umbrella sleeve, a core rod and a steel leg fitting. The composite insulator assembly comprises a lower conductive cushion block, a metallic oxide resistor piece group, a central conductive cushion block, an insulating cushion block and an upper conductive cushion block, wherein the lower conductive cushion block, the metallic oxide resistor piece group, the central conductive cushion block, the insulating cushion block and the upper conductive cushion block are sequentially disposed on the core rod in a sleeving manner and are attached to each other. The arc-shaped wire duct fitting passes through the insulating umbrella sleeve to be connected with the upper conductive cushion block. The central conductive cushion block is connected with the upwards bent rod-shaped discharge electrode which passes through the insulating umbrella sleeve to extend outside the insulating umbrella sleeve. There is an air gap between the upwards bent rod-shaped discharge electrode and the arc-shaped wire duct fitting. The insulator can achieve the anti-thunder and anti-icing-flashover functions of a 10kV line at the same time, gives the consideration to the functions of resisting to rainstorm, birds droppings, dirt and falling branches and leaves, does not need to change a pole tower structure, facilitates the reconstruction of a conventional power transmission line, and can greatly saves the construction investment of a power distribution network.
