In a liquid crystal display device, a first substrate includes electrical wirings and a semiconductor integrated circuit which has TFTs and is connected electrically to the electrical wirings, and a second substrate includes a transparent conductive film on a surface thereof. A surface of the first substrate on which the electrical wirings are formed is opposite to the transparent conductive film on the second substrate. The semiconductor integrated circuit has substantially the same length as one side of a display screen (i.e., a matrix circuit) of the display device and is obtained by peeling it from another substrate and then forming it on the first substrate. Also, in a liquid crystal display device, a first substrate includes a matrix circuit and a peripheral driver circuit, and a second substrate is opposite to the first substrate, includes a matrix circuit and a peripheral driver circuit and has at least a size corresponding to the matrix circuit and the peripheral driver circuit. Spacers are provided between the first and second substrates. A seal material is formed outside the matrix circuits and the peripheral driver circuits in the first and second substrates. A liquid crystal material is filled inside a region enclosed by the seal material. A protective film is formed on the peripheral driver circuit that has a thickness substantially equivalent to an interval between the substrates which is formed by the spacers.

An active vibration isolating support device for preventing the direct transmission of vibrations from an engine to a vehicle body frame includes an electromagnetic actuator for driving a movable member in a reciprocating fashion to change the capacity of a first liquid chamber. A shaft portion of an armature driven by a coil is supported by a bearing so that it moves along an axis, whereby the size of an air gap can be maintained as small as possible, thereby making it possible to miniaturize the coil. In addition, a connecting rod for connecting the movable member with the armature is supported so as to sway relative to a coil spring and a saucer spring, whereby the vibration of the movable member is prevented from being transmitted to the shaft portion of the armature.

The strength and rigidity of pad springs are increased with a simple structure to prevent deformation and so forth of the pad springs caused by external force. A mounting member 1 is provided with pad springs 8 for resiliently supporting friction pads 7. Each pad spring 8 has guide plates 9, a connecting plate 10, an engagement plate 11, radially urging portions 12, circumferentially urging portions 13, reinforcement 15, etc. The reinforcement 15 includes a rectilinear reinforcement 15A formed on a flat plate portion 10A of the connecting plate 10 by embossing, for example, and oblique reinforcements 15B formed on joint portions 10B of the connecting plate 10. Thus, the joint portions 10B and so forth of the pad springs 8 can be prevented from being deformed by external force when the brake is activated or during assembling operation, for example, and hence it is possible to prevent positional displacement of the guide plates 9, etc. that would otherwise be caused by the deformation of the joint portions 10B.

In a liquid crystal display device, a first substrate includes electrical wirings and a semiconductor integrated circuit which has TFTs and is connected electrically to the electrical wirings, and a second substrate includes a transparent conductive film on a surface thereof. Also, in a liquid crystal display device, a first substrate includes a matrix circuit and a peripheral driver circuit, and a second substrate is opposite to the first substrate, includes a matrix circuit and a peripheral driver circuit and has at least a size corresponding to the matrix circuit and the peripheral driver circuit. Spacers are provided between the first and second substrates. A seal material is formed outside the matrix circuits and the peripheral driver circuits in the first and second substrates. A liquid crystal material is filled inside a region enclosed by the seal material. A protective film is formed on the peripheral driver circuit that has a thickness substantially equivalent to an interval between the substrates which is formed by the spacers.

The electronic structure is moved towards the contact surface permitting the tip structure to penetrate into the surface of the electrical contact location thereon and to move, wipe, or vibrate across the surface thereof as the shaped elongated electrical conductor flexes as a result of being compressed by the movement of the electronic structure toward the contact surface.

The ferritic stainless steel sheet, having a relatively inexpensive component composition, has excellent thermal fatigue properties, and is suitable for use in an automotive exhaust-gas path member, including an exhaust manifold, a catalyst converter, a front pipe, or a center pipe.

An HMT apparatus (T) is mounted on a vehicle (A). In the HMT apparatus (T), input rotational force from an engine (13) is once divided into two systems which are then transmitted by an MT device (23) and by an HST device (24) respectively and are re-synthesized for transfer toward wheels (12) and (16). The input shaft (25) is coupled directly to the crank shaft (13a) and an input gear (27) of the MT device (23) is mounted on the input shaft (25), and a hydraulic piston pump (30) of the HST device (24) is connected to the right side end of the input shaft (25). A planetary gear mechanism (28) of the MT device (23) is connected to the right side end of the output shaft (26), and a hydraulic piston motor (31) of the HST device (24) is connected to the right side of the planetary gear mechanism (28). By virtue of such arrangement, it is possible to improve the degree of freedom of the layout of each component of the HMT apparatus (T), to reduce axial dimensions, and further to provide improvement in the cooling property and maintenance property of the section of the HST device (24).
