A method for predicting the total organic carbon (TOC) content of shale comprises the following steps: subjecting a shale sample to a physical test and analysis to obtain the rock parameters of the shale sample; based on the rock parameters, obtaining first mathematic relationship between TOC of the shale sample and each well logging parameter of multiple well logging parameters; carrying out well logging analysis, based on the results of the well logging analysis, obtaining second mathematic relationship between TOC and each well logging parameter; aiming at each well logging parameter, judging the consistency between the first mathematic relationship and the second mathematic relationship; aiming at each well logging parameter, when the first mathematic relationship and the second mathematic relationship are consistent, based on the first mathematic relationship or the second mathematic relationship, calculating the similarity between TOC and the well logging parameter; choosing the well logging parameter having the maximal similarity as the prediction parameter; and based on the value of the prediction parameter, and the first mathematic relationship and the second mathematic relationship between TOC and the prediction parameter, predicting the TOC of the shale sample.

The present invention aims to provide a device for reducing concentration of total organic carbon in boric acid solution. The device can reduce the concentration of total organic carbon (TOC) in cooling water containing boric acid in a nuclear reactor primary loop system by using UV radiation. The device comprises a liquid storage tank of input solution (containing total organic carbon and boric acid solution) and a pump, wherein the pump is used for pumping solution from the liquid storage tank to a UV lamp. A connecting pipe is arranged on a pipeline in front of the UV lamp for adding of a free radical reaction initiator, and the initiator is pumped by a metering pump. Mixed solution of the initiator and the boric acid solution flows into the UV lamp, and complicated organic matter is decomposed into simple matters in the UV lamp. After that, the solution flows into a activated carbon adsorption bed, so as to reduce the excess free radical reaction initiator. The solution in which the excess free radical reaction initiator is removed flows into an air discharge duct, so as to form oxygen and discharge carbon dioxide. Then the solution is pumped to a mixed bed column for thorough purification by a pump, and resin in the mixed bed column comprises a strong acidic cation exchanger and a strong base anion exchanger.

The invention discloses a method for improving growth of seedlings of hizikia fusiformis. The method comprises steps as follows: seawater is added to a nursery pond of juvenile sporophyte of the hizikia fusiformis, the total alkalinity, the pH value, the salinity, the temperature and the nutrient substance concentration of the seawater are tested, and the concentration of TIC (total inorganic carbon) is calculated; a sodium bicarbonate solution is added to the culture pond, the concentration of TIC in the seawater is calculated again, and whether sodium bicarbonate is required to be continuously added is observed. Used sodium bicarbonate is low in cost, safe and easy to obtain, and large-scale agricultural production is easy to implement; sodium bicarbonate is added to change the composition of a carbonate system of the culture seawater, the concentration of TIC in the culture seawater is increased, the method is simple and convenient to operate, the growth speed of the seedlings of hizikia fusiformis is safely and effectively increased, time is saved for follow-up cultivation of the hizikia fusiformis, and output of the hizikia fusiformis is favorably increased. The provided method for improving growth of the seedlings is higher in implementation and has certain practical significance in the large-scale hizikia fusiformis culture industry of offshore areas in China.
