Orthogonal Procesing of Organic Materials Used in Electronic and Electrical Devices

An orthogonal process for photolithographic patterning organic structures is disclosed. The disclosed process utilizes fluorinated solvents or supercritical CO2 as the solvent so that the performance of the organic conductors and semiconductors would not be adversely affected by other aggressive solvent. One disclosed method may also utilize a fluorinated photoresist together with the HFE solvent, but other fluorinated solvents can be used. In one embodiment, the fluorinated photoresist is a resorcinarene, but various fluorinated polymer photoresists and fluorinated molecular glass photoresists can be used as well. For example, a copolymer perfluorodecyl methacrylate (FDMA) and 2-nitrobenzyl methacrylate (NBMA) is a suitable orthogonal fluorinated photoresist for use with fluorinated solvents and supercritical carbon dioxide in a photolithography process. The combination of the fluorinated photoresist and the fluorinated solvent provides a robust, orthogonal process that is yet to be achieved by methods or devices known in the art.

Non-yellowing ortho-dialkyl aryl substituted triazine ultraviolet light absorbers

The invention relates generally to pyrimidines and triazines ultraviolet light absorbers containing a phenolic aromatic group(s) and a non-phenolic aromatic group(s) and the use thereof to protect against degradation by environmental forces, inclusive of ultraviolet light, actinic radiation, oxidation, moisture, atmospheric pollutants, and combinations thereof. The new class of pyrimidines and triazines includes two (one) non-phenolic aromatic groups with hydrocarbyl groups that are ortho to each other and one (two) resorcinol or substituted resorcinol group attached to a triazine or pyrimidine ring. The pyrimidines and triazines may be included in a polymeric structure. A method for stabilizing a material by incorporating the novel pyrimidines and triazines is also disclosed.

Gel plugging agent for deep profile control of higher temperature oil reservoir and preparation method of gel plugging agent

The invention relates to a gel plugging agent for deep profile control of a higher temperature oil reservoir, and a preparation method of the gel plugging agent. The gel plugging agent comprises 0.3-0.8 percent of nonionic polyacrylamide, 0.6-1.3 percent of a cross-linking agent A, 0.45-1.44 percent of a cross-linking agent B, 0.02-0.04 percent of a temperature stabilizer and 0.01-0.08 percent of a pH value regulator, wherein the cross-linking agent A is methenamine; the cross-ling agent B is hydroquinone or resorcinol; the temperature stabilizer is sodium thiosulfate, sodium bisulfite or sodium sulfite; and the pH regulator is sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate. The gel plugging agent disclosed by the invention has strong temperature resisting performance and can be used for the profile control operation of the high temperature oil reservoir with 100-160DEG C; the gel plugging agent has the characteristics of high strength after being gelatinized, stronger plugging capability for the stratum and favorable thermal stability; and in addition, after the gel plugging agent is stood at the temperature of 130 DEG C for 90 days, the strength change is little and gel breaking and hydration are avoided.

Disclosed is a herbicidal mixture comprising (a) at least one herbicide compound selected from the pyrimidines of Formula 1, including all geometric and stereoisomers, N-oxides, and salts thereof:

Also disclosed is a method for controlling the growth of undesired vegetation comprising contacting the vegetation or its environment with a herbicidally effective amount of a mixture of the invention (e.g., as a composition described herein).

A thermoplastic composition comprises a polyester-polycarbonate polymer comprising isophthalate-terephthalate-resorcinol ester units and carbonate units, and a poly(alkylene ester) comprising ethylene terephthalate units, 1,4-cyclohexyldimethylene terephthalate units, or a combination of ethylene terephthalate units and 1,4-cyclohexyldimethylene terephthalate units, wherein the sum of the mole percentage values of isophthalate-terephthalate-resorcinol ester units in the polyester-polycarbonate polymer, and of the mole percentage values of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate units in the poly(alkylene ester) polymer, is a value greater than 40. In other embodiments, polycarbonate may be included. Also disclosed is a method for forming the thermoplastic compositions, and articles prepared therefrom.

The invention discloses temperature-resisting salt-tolerant high-temperature self-cross-linking onsite polymerization water plugging gel which mainly consists of, by mass, main agent 4%-6%, cross-linking agent 1%-2% and the balance saline water. The main agent consists of a monomer A and a monomer B, wherein the monomer A is acrylamide, and the monomer B is ester matter. The cross-linking agent is one of or a mixture of two or more formaldehyde, phenolic resin, resorcinol, hexamethylene tetramine, paraformaldehyde and polyethyleneimine. The temperature-resisting salt-tolerant high-temperature self-cross-linking onsite polymerization water plugging gel spontaneously produces cross-linking polymerization under the condition of high temperature, an initiator is not added, the gelling time can be controlled to be 2 hours to 28 hours at the temperature of 120 DEG C, the water plugging gel can be directly prepared by high-salinity water, the gelling strength can be up to the visual inspection code level I, and synaeresis does not occur after 90 days. The temperature-resisting salt-tolerant high-temperature self-cross-linking onsite polymerization water plugging gel is low in initial viscosity, has the advantages of being few in components, good in instant solubility and pumping injection performance, high plugging strength, good in thermohaline stability, low in cost and the like and has wide application prospect on the aspect of high-temperature high-salinity oil reservoir profile control water plugging.
