The invention relates to a method for preparing an organic fertilizer by using livestock manure, comprising the following steps: firstly uniformly stirring and mixing livestock manure and an additive,and then adding 0.02-0.05% of a leavening agent, uniformly mixing to obtain mixed materials, adding water until moisture content of the mixed materials is 60-70%, hydraulically packing the mixed materials into a cuboid block, sealing and packaging with a plastic bag, carrying out anaerobic fermentation at room temperature, and obtaining an organic fertilizer after the fermentation. The method issimple to operate, will not pollute the environment, and has no site limitation. The fermentation time is shortened, and the cost is reduced. Adverse effects of traditional building fermentation heap-build fermentation are solved, and the annual scale production becomes possible anytime and anywhere. The organic fertilizer prepared by the invention can be used for fertilization of crops, also canbe used as a culture medium for soilless culture, and also can be used as a culture medium for edible fungi. In addition, due to good fermentability and nutrient properties, the organic fertilizer canalso be used as an animal feed for earthworms, yellow mealworms, fly maggots, fish and shrimps, pigs, cows and sheep.
