The invention discloses a light cultivation method of rice by mechanized hill-direct-seeding, comprising the steps, such as mechanized crushing and returning of wheat, land preparation, rice seed selection, rice seed treatment, seed and fertilizer synchronization in mechanized hill-direct-seeding, moisture management, disease and pest damage control, mechanized harvesting, and straw returning. Themechanized manner replaces the manual manner to arrive at light cultivation of rice by hill direct seeding. Compared with traditional rice planting modes, the method of the invention employs seed andfertilizer synchronization in mechanized hill-direct-seeding to achieve single fertilizer application for rice, and the difficulty in rice topdressing is overcome; fertilizer is applied below the lateral side of rice seeds, the problem that contact between the fertilizer and the seeds affects seed germination is avoided, rice root burning is avoided, downward growth of seed roots is promoted, theability of hill-direct-seeded rice to resist lodging is enhanced, and green yield increase and efficiency increase for rice are promoted.
