The invention provides a no-battery wireless switch and a control method thereof. The no-battery wireless switch comprises a housing, a switch, a mechanical transmission mechanism, a micro power generator, a rectifier, an energy storage device and a wireless communication module, wherein the switch is arranged on the surface of the housing; and the mechanical transmission mechanism, the micro power generator, the rectifier, the energy storage device and the wireless communication module are arranged in the housing. The mechanical transmission mechanism is used for driving the micro power generator to function under the action of a certain external force; the micro power generator is used for converting the mechanical energy into electric energy, and the generated electric energy passes through the rectifier and is stored into the energy storage device; the wireless communication module is used for sending coded signals; and the switch is a press-type switch capable of resetting automatically and is in electrical connection with the energy storage device and the wireless communication module. When pressed, the switch is in the connection state, and the energy storage device is connected to form a power supply loop for the wireless communication module; and when not pressed, the switch is in the disconnected state. With the technical scheme in the invention, the switch can generates power by itself and the power can be stored, thereby simplifying the switch mechanical design, and greatly reducing the cost of the switch.
