The fingerling pond comprises a first-stage pond, a second-stage pond, a third-stage pond and a fourth-stage pond, which communicate with one another sequentially along the water flow direction, wherein the pond depth of the first-stage, second-stage, third-stage and fourth-stage ponds increases gradually, each fingerling pond comprises a pond bottom, a drainage port and pond walls, and escape preventing meshes are arranged at the drainage ports; a water inlet groove is formed around the periphery of the pond walls, water inlets are formed between the water inlet groove and the pond walls, the vertical height difference between every two adjacent pond bottoms is 20-30cm, a step is arranged between every two adjacent pond bottoms, embankments are arranged at the upper part of each step, and each removable intercepting mesh is arranged between the two corresponding embankments; a sewage discharge outlet is formed in the fourth-stage pond, and a bar grate is arranged at the discharge outlet; and the minimum height of the pond walls is 1m. According to the fingerling pond, the four fingerling ponds, which communicate with one another and are inconsistent in water depth, are used for feeding the sturgeons so as to meet the requirements of fingerlings of different stages on water level, and thus, the pond transferring for the sturgeons is convenient and fast; and feed in the fingerling ponds of upper layers can flow into the fingerling ponds of lower layers so as to feed the sturgeons, meanwhile, the wasting of the feed is avoided, and the difficulty of cleaning is lowered.
